BENTONITE CLAY!!!!

I've watched YouTube videos, I've seen blog posts and I HAD TO TRY IT! I jumped on the bentonite clay band wagon last month and I don't think I'm turning back..

Aztec Secret - Indian Healing Clay

$8 @ wholefoods

I finally stopped at wholefoods here in New York to pick this up one day after school. I decided to try it as a facial mask instead of on my hair because my weave is installed.

Facial Mask Mix:

Equal parts clay & apple cider vinegar 

Mix until it has a smooth paste like consistency

DO NOT USE ANY METAL UTENSILS OR BOWL!!!!!

I place the clay on my face and let it harden up (imagine Queen Helene mint julep on steroids) you can feel your face pulsating. Like everything is being drawn out of your face with this mask..

I follow up with a hot towel and a splash of fresh lemon juice.

HAVE YOU NOTICED ANY CHANGES?????

I noticed much smaller pores even after the first use. It shrank up my 'time of the month' pimple immediately and it controls the overproduction of the natural sebum oil in my Tzone -AKA- I'm less shiny!
